To date, we’ve helped more than 13,295 families in Indonesia
Habitat for Humanity has been operating in Indonesia since 1997. We currently work in 13 provinces, providing new houses, rehabilitation and repairs for people who cannot afford housing. We also respond after natural disasters: Indonesia is particularly vulnerable to earthquakes and volcano eruptions.

Our Campaigns
YouthBUILD 2012, Sentul, Jakarta
On 12th May 2012, YouthBUILD will bring together thousands of young volunteers to build homes, communities and hope across the Asia-Pacific region. Volunteers and fundraisers will help create a world where everyone has a decent place to live, by building homes and raising awareness and support through their social and digital networks.
Our YouthBUILD project will see 150 new homes erected in Babakan Madang, near Sentul, Jakarta by 1,500 volunteers. Three quarters of Babakan Madang’s population lives below the poverty line, without access to proper nutrition, decent education or clean water.
